Shane R. Russell, AWMA® 

Shane is the Executive Vice President and Director of Operations here at CrossRoads Financial. Since he was a kid, his dream was to work alongside his father every day—but he had to earn his way there first. Shane attended the University of South Carolina, where he double-majored in Business and Political Science. He received his BA in 2007, and continued working in the hospitality industry for a few years after graduation. Still, his ultimate goal was to join his father in the financial industry.

With this goal in mind, Shane received his Series 7 in 2012, and finally, in 2016, Bill asked him to join the family business as Executive Vice President and Director of Operations. Shane received his Series 66 in this same year, followed by his AWMA in 2020. 

Working with his dad every day might be a dream come true, but for Shane, the true joy of his job comes from assisting his father and seeing clients work towards their financial goals after years of work. 

Shane was born in Philadelphia, but raised in the Poconos in a small lake town. He’s the youngest of six children, and has always looked up to his dad and the work that he does to help others. He now lives on Hilton Head Island, where he enjoys boating, golfing, and playing basketball.
